Manpreet Singh, Founder & Chief Investment Officer
Manpreet Singh, CFA, is the Chief Investment Officer of Singh Capital Partners, a private investment office with a global mandate spanning venture capital, private equity, and real estate.
Over the past decade, Singh has led more than 50 private investments across sectors including technology, healthcare, and consumer goods. Singh currently serves on a range of public, private, and non-profit boards including Cemtrex (Nasdaq: CETX), Investcorp India Acquisition Corp (Nasdaq: IVCA), Continuum, Founderpath, PartsAvatar, Oats Overnight, US Inspect, Snowball Industries, Shukr Investments, Suburban Hospital (Johns Hopkins Medicine), and the Dingman Center at the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland.
Previously, Singh was the Founder and CEO of TalkLocal, a venture-backed local services marketplace that operated in 49 U.S. states and facilitated over two million customer-contractor connections. Before founding TalkLocal, he served as the first and longest-tenured investor at Profit Investment Management, a Washington, D.C. based firm that grew its assets under management from $20 million to over $2 billion during his tenure.
Singh earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Business, where he specialized in Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Real Estate. He also holds a B.S. in Finance with a citation in Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. In 2006, he became one of the youngest CFA charterholders in the world and was profiled by the organization as its “Most Ambitious” member.
